A wildflower meadow in full bloom, captured across the width of a single glass panel. Slender black stems rise from a dense bed of green frit grass, each tipped with a richly coloured glass bead in deep red, amber and teal, scattered against a softly speckled pale blue sky. The scene has the loose, unplanned quality of a real meadow -- nothing symmetrical, nothing repeated.
 
Each stem and grass blade is hand-drawn in enamel, with frit built up in layers around it and kiln-fired to a glossy finish. Run a finger across the surface and you feel every smooth bump of frit beneath it, each bead catching the light in its own way as you move past.
 
The glass panel is presented in a white or black wood frame with a white mount, landscape orientation, 327mm wide by 200mm tall and 19mm deep. It can be hung on a wall or displayed on a stand (not included).
