A meadow scene brought to life in fused glass, this tea light holder features slender hand-drawn stems rising from a bed of layered green frit (crushed glass), each tipped with a richly coloured molten bead. Enamel paints form the fine, branching stem details, while frit in graduating grades builds the texture of the meadow from dense grass at the base to a softly scattered aqua blue sky above. The fire-polished surface glows when lit, the candlelight catching every bead and fragment with warmth. Raised beads of deep red and turquoise blue add real depth and dimension. A lovely addition to a windowsill, mantelpiece or dining table.
