Layers of frit (crushed glass) in aqua blue, sapphire blue and turquoise blue are built up by hand across a clear glass base, with coarser pieces catching and holding the light to give the surface a rich, tactile depth. The wave form curls naturally through the composition, and when a tea light is placed behind the glass, the blues come alive with a warm, shifting luminosity. The fused glass panel sits in front of a solid clear glass tea light holder that diffuses the candlelight gently upward. A lovely addition to a bathroom, bedroom or living space.
