Three delicate allium flower heads rise on fine enamel painted stems, their blooms built up from layers of frit (crushed glass) in dusty lilac, light plum and deep plum, ranging from fine dusty scatter to coarser rounded beads that sit proud of the surface. Scattered droplets of frit extend outward from each bloom, giving a sense of movement, as though caught in a gentle breeze.
Place a tea light inside and the fire-polished glass glows from within, the layered frit catching and scattering the flame into warm pools of colour. A lovely piece for a windowsill, bathroom shelf or bedside table.
