Eight allium heads on fine crossing stems, rising and weaving from the base of the panel to the top. The stems cross and curve around each other as they climb, each one tipped with a full round head in cobalt, cornflower and cyan frit, scattered against a clear glass background with a dusting of transparent blue frit between the blooms. The composition has a natural looseness to it, as though the flowers are moving slightly in a breeze.

Each stem is hand-drawn in enamel, the frit heads built up bead by bead and kiln-fired to a glossy finish. Run a finger across the surface and every bump of frit is smooth beneath it, the texture of each flower head distinct and satisfying.

The tall narrow glass panel is presented in a slim wood frame with a white mount, portrait orientation. It is wall-hung, flat to the wall, the white frame sitting cleanly against any painted surface.

A piece that works particularly well in a bathroom, bedroom or hallway where the cool blues and clear glass have space to catch the light.

Handmade at Silicon Pixel Glassworks, each piece is individually crafted, ensuring no two are ever the same.
