A cluster of allium blooms rises on fine enamel-painted stems across a clear glass base, their flower heads built up from layers of frit (crushed glass) in vivid shades of cobalt, turquoise and pale ice blue. Coarser frit gives the blooms a beautifully textured, almost bubbled quality, while finer grades create a soft scatter of colour across the background. After kiln firing, the glossy surface catches light across the layered glass, giving the piece real depth and a quiet luminosity. Mounted in a frame, it suits a hallway, living room or bedroom — anywhere that benefits from a considered touch of colour and craft.
