Three flowering stems rise from a clear glass base, their bold blooms built up from layers of frit (crushed glass) in Tangerine Orange, Red Orange, Canary Yellow and clear white glass. The stems and flower heads are hand-drawn in black enamel paint, giving the piece a loose, botanical quality. Scattered frit dots across the surface add a sense of movement, as though petals are caught mid-fall.
After kiln-firing, the glossy fire-polished surface catches light beautifully, the translucent and coloured glass creating warmth and gentle depth. Presented in a frame, this piece suits a kitchen, hallway or any space that benefits from a quiet burst of colour.
