As the days shorten and the colours turn, the Harvest Tree captures that particular richness of an autumn at its peak. A single tree in full autumn canopy -- burnt amber and deep orange frit built up around fine black branches, roots reaching into a green and teal meadow floor -- stands in a solid clear glass base that holds a tea light candle.
 
Lit, the piece comes alive. The candlelight rises through the clear glass base and catches every bead of frit from behind, the warm amber tones glowing as though the tree itself is lit from within. Unlit in daylight, the layered frit has a depth and texture that rewards a close look -- each smooth bump of colour sitting just beneath the fire-polished surface.
 
At 60mm wide, 100mm tall and 50mm deep, it sits comfortably on a windowsill, mantelpiece or side table without demanding space. A lovely piece for the autumn months, and a gift that feels considered rather than generic.
