Three allium flower heads are depicted in this piece, their delicate stems rendered in fine enamel linework that rises from the base of the clear glass. Layers of frit (crushed glass) in olive green, spring green and mint green build up the characteristic rounded flower clusters, with scattered fragments across the surface adding a natural, airy quality.
The glossy, fire-polished surface catches light beautifully, giving depth to the layered greens and allowing the clear glass to glow where the design opens up. The effect is botanical without being literal — fresh and quietly graphic.
