A full, rounded tree in spring blossom sits at the centre of this large framed fused glass piece. The trunk and branches are hand drawn using enamel paints, giving the composition a delicate, illustrative quality. The canopy is built up with layers of frit (crushed glass) in pink and spring green, with deeper garnet red accents adding richness among the blossom. A textured green meadow foreground, created from coarse and fine frit, grounds the scene. The kiln-fired surface has a glossy, fire-polished finish that catches the light beautifully, bringing depth and luminosity to the layered glass. Mounted in a frame, this piece works well in a hallway, bedroom or living room.
