High summer in a woodland clearing, the ground beneath the trees a sea of red. The Poppy Wood captures that vivid moment in fused glass: bare-branched trees with fresh green canopy rising above a dense floor of green and deep red frit, every bead catching the light differently as the day moves on.
 
The fused glass panel is fixed to the front of a clear glass diffuser bottle, five black reeds fanning upward from the top. As the oil draws slowly through the reeds and scent fills the room, the glass panel catches the light around it, the red frit warm and rich against the green above.
 
Near a window the piece glows, the deep red and green warming with the light. On a shelf or sideboard it holds its colour quietly, a small piece of high summer brought indoors.
 
At 70mm wide, 100mm tall and 50mm deep, it sits neatly without taking over a surface. Supplied empty with five extra thick reeds, ready for your choice of diffuser oil.
