A bluebell woodland scene in fused glass, bare tree trunks and branching canopy in black, a vivid floor of lime green and cobalt blue frit suggesting bluebells beneath the trees, stands upright in a solid oak base, handmade and lightly oiled to bring out the warmth and grain of the wood.
 
There is no frame, no mount. Just glass and oak, the panel rising cleanly from the wood as a sculptural object in its own right. What makes it special is the light. As natural light shifts through the day, it passes through the translucent glass and the colours change with it. The cobalt deepens in morning light, the greens warm as afternoon comes in. Put it near a window and it will look different every time you pass.
 
At 60mm wide, 205mm tall and 45mm deep, it has real presence on a windowsill, mantelpiece or sideboard without taking over the space.
